White Oak in a clear grade offers no character and color variation is more 
uniform. It’s preferred by those looking for that sleek contemporary look.
It’s quite obvious here if compared to the white oak character. Color tones come off in straw like tans and varying shades or brown.
Naturally light will play a role. That’s why I would recommend watching our refinish White Oak video that shows it under light and darker lighting conditions.
By applying a wet sponge to the surface you get a good idea of what this clear white oak can look like if finished natural and no stain.
