Our white oak character unfinished engineered shows a wider 6 ¼ inch 
plank. It’s not off the charts in so far as being too wide. Today I’m finding many settle for the 5 ¼ inch look.
As far as the amount or type of character, it’s considered mild and not any heavy knotting or crazy splits and who knows what else we see nowadays on European Oak. Many ask me about the milling. Well, see and hear for yourself.
The milling is very precise requiring reduced work to sand the floor prior to finishing. And it’s not your all too familiar product that needs a beating to get it together.
Your installer will love you for making the right decision with this product. Sounding a bit biased eh? Well..the proof is in the puddin’ folks.
Most of us know what white oak looks like when finished, but a damp sponge brings out the colors. Finally the floor shot gizmo goes out for a spin with a lower level view.
No one bundle of the white oak character will be the same. In this segment we see a considerable amount of character. This is where it’s vital whomever is installing the floor to mix as many bundles as possible to get a true and accurate representation.
