Ringing Rocks has similarities to that of the popular Grey Sky, but with
lighter browns, tans and a hint of caramel highlighted by light grays in the sapwood portion of Hickory itself.
Sapwood you say? A natural Hickory has pronounced differences in color, almost like night and day. Show here is a natural Hickory character. The lighter areas called sapwood will fill in with the grays mentioned.
The Country Lifestyle product line has a subtle scrape and in the case of Ringing Rocks will show darker areas where chatter takes place. It’s a matter of stain absorbing more in these areas.
Not much a pronounced difference in colors as the lighting changes, but that’s the way I see it.
